It is recommended that the cabinet filters should be removed and thoroughly washed atleast once a week. This can be done using a vacuum cleaner or by hand washing them in warm soapy water.

The filters are re-usable however in time they will begin to deteriorate, so they must be checked for cracks and breaks. Replacement can be anytime from 3 months to 1 year.
