Firesafe Protection, Medical Oxygen Concentrators
The requirement to install a minimum of two Firesafe devices (or similar) into a domiciliary Oxygen circuit (one near the chest area and one near the Oxygen source) has been a requirement since 2004/5 under the UK DoH installation specification.
ISO 80601-2-69:2014 is applicable to a transit-operable and non-transit-operable oxygen concentrators and requires a minimum of two Firesafe (or similar) devices fitted to the circuit.
