The SimplyGo Mini portable oxygen concentrator (POC) has the ability to satisfy patients' clinical and ambulatory lifestyle needs, whilst providing the ruggedness and realiability for all medical requirements.Featuring a coloured and touch-screen responsive control panel, the SimplyGo Mini is both easy and enjoyable to operate. Offering pulse flow settings of 1-5, the SimplyGo Mini is easy to use.At less than half the size and weight of any other Philips Respironics portable concentrator, the SimplyGo Mini is the smallest and lightest ever developed. It weighs in at just 5lb's with the standard battery and 6lb's with the extended battery.The intuitive user interface is an LCD touch screen that is both easy to use and read.Supplied with its stylish carry case, the SimplyGo Mini is easily portable and allows the active oxygen user freedom to get out and about.The SimplyGo Mini has a set of pre programmed audible alarms to keep to alert to any problems.Audible alarms include:- No Breath - If no breath is detected the SimplyGo mini will alert, signalling you to insert your cannula. This will then silence once the device has detected a breath.
- Low oxygen concentration - This occurs when the SimplyGo Mini is delivering oxygen at a lower concentration than what is specified. This is approximately 87% on all flow settings.
- High breath rate - This indicates that your breath rate is exceeding the capacity of the SimplyGo Mini.
- Technical Fault - Two problems can cause this alarm to sound. The first being that the battery has ran out, the second being that the machine is malfunctioning and is no longer operating properly.
- Low battery - This alarm will sound when there is approximately 17minute of battery life remaining.
- No Oxygen flow
- Depleted battery - This will sound when there is approximately 2 minutes of battery life remaining.
- External power failure - This highlights that there is a problem with the machine not receiving power when plugged into the AC/DC power supply.
